  • Do not use inverted commas because you are not quoting directly 
Example: 
The theory was first presented in 1970 (Larsen 1971, pp. 3-5)
  • If the name is integrate into the text you do not need to repeat it in your reference.
Example:
Larsen (1971) was the first to present the theory in 1970.
